After raining nearly all afternoon, the weather took a turn for the better and I decided to go to the washes straight after work. It started raining again on the way there and I had to wait half an hour in the car for it to stop! However, the unexpected bonuses were a few Linnets bathing in puddles on the drove. They retired to the verge to preen afterwards and I grabbed a few shots. This was one of the more interesting ones.
