It seemed a pretty stupid idea to go to FM on a sunny Sunday afternoon, given its popularity with dogwalkers, joggers and screaming children, but somehow I managed to find a quiet spot where this Grey Heron was fishing a reeded channel. I like its look of intense concentration, with bill slightly open, ready for incoming prey.
