There were some fabulous photo-opportunities on our three-day trip to Andalucia, southern Spain. A flock of c50 Collared Pratincoles were on a tilled field in an unassuming agricultural area, right by the road. The birds perched happily on a bank, with a ditch between us. It was pretty warm, so there was some heat haze which affected the pictures, but otherwise I can't complain! They are funny birds...
