I do really stupid things sometimes, like trying to digiscope awkward Sylvia
warblers. I went to Eldernell on a fantastic spring morning with the
intention of digiscoping singing birds. The idea was that they'd be
busy singing and a) be perched out in the open and b) would be less
bothered by my presence. Not true. I got about 20 shots of this male Blackcap facing away from me, or behind
bits of hawthorn, before I got this OK-ish shot.
