Large Red Damselfly

Large Red Damselfly
Large Red Damselfly | Pyrrosoma nymphula
The Lodge, Sandy, Bedfordshire. 12.07.2005. Original blog post.

The problem with trying to photograph insects at lunchtime when it's really hot is that they're very frisky and keep flying around all the time. Only very occasionally do they perch for long enough to attempt a shot.
